Here are the 2 Surveys with open responses. We got A LOT of great feedback! We edited a few comments to be more constructive so all could hear the intention. As you look at this, ask yourself if you can help in any of these areas because you have a passion for it. We are always looking for parents and community members to get involved in areas they love. We will also look at where we want to focus our efforts next year.

We have a Prospect parent who is requesting the CUHSD School Board to vote to allow students the choice to have letter grades versus pass/fail. She sent a Gmail – introducing a resolution to request student choice for grade reporting and if you are interested in signing her petition please click here. One of PTSA’s missions is to give parents a voice and to be able to work together.

With the support of your generous donations this year we are able to help our teachers during this challenging time. Last week the board decided to open up a new set of grants to support our teachers with tools they may need to successfully teach their students online. This happened so quickly that we wanted to support our teachers with their efforts to keep our students learning. In a high school each teacher has a different need and with the future budgets uncertain we wanted to make sure that our teachers were supported with needed funds right away.
We are offering all of our teachers up to $200 in reimbursement for any tools they may need to convert their in-person classes to online instruction. Our teacher representative, Mr. McGowan, was very excited about the grant and shared it with our teachers last week.
