In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, Prospect PTSA wanted to show how much we appreciate the teachers and staff, especially at the end of this difficult year. On Monday they were treated to bagels and cold brew coffee to start the week. The staff room was then decorated and everyone received individual S’mores kits to go along with the camping theme decorations. They then ended the week with a yummy lunch purchased by PTSA from Mendocino Farms. They were super appreciative and wanted to thank PTSA for making it a special Teacher Appreciation week. Thanks parents for your donations that allowed this to happen!
On April 13th, PTSA held a meeting where Mr. Pinza led the attendees in an interactive presentation discussing the current hybrid model and its potential expansion. The participants gave their input with polls and open-ended questions. He also highlighted priorities that Prospect is focusing on surrounding school culture and provided an overview of the changes that PHS is undergoing regarding sexual harassment/assault cases.
If you weren’t able to attend the meeting, you can still provide your input! There are two areas within the presentation for the Prospect community to share their thoughts and suggestions on planning regarding Curriculum & Instruction and School Culture. Please add your own comments or ‘like’ comments that are already posted. You can access it here: https://app.nearpod.com/presentation?pin=WV6JU

PTSA brought breakfast (individually wrapped) for teachers on their first day back to school on Monday, April 12. It was a welcome surprise for them and was to show our appreciation for the teachers adjustment back to teaching from the classroom again. We hope the rest of the school year goes well for everyone!

Through the generosity of Prospect families, we were able to show our gratitude to the over 100 amazing Prospect teachers and staff, despite all of the closures and challenges that many in our community have been facing this year. Thank you to all of the families who were able to donate online…you made a huge difference!
